Iris and Vern were among the first people we met in Oshawa Ward in the very early 70's being invited to their house for many Sunday dinners. They were a lovely couple and Iris taught me, a very young 21 year old how to sew. Their house was always open to us and we appreciated them both. Even though we haven't seen Iris for many years, looking at her photograph, we can tell, she's still Iris. Our condolences to all the family members on their loss.

I first met Iris in Canada when I was living in Montreal. Vernon Dormon was my uncle, Leonard Dormon was my dad. Iris welcomed me with open arms as we went down to the church for the churches sports day. We played throw and catch with eggs!
Iris got into contact with my daughter Rachel Dormon as they exchanged photos and information about our family. Iris regularly sent e-gift cards during Christmas and other holidays, we were very fond of them!

Iris, you took the Remax real estate business in Bowmanville by storm.
Every time we turned around, Vern would be waiting in the car to drive you to Pontypool to sell another house to an Ontario Hydro worker. Many of those homes you sold twice! You were quite a business woman. One of the top selling agents for years.
