Joan Sussan Down (nee Kinsman)

Passed away peacefully, in her 89^th year, at Hyland Crest Long Term Care on Sunday June 9, 2024.

Beloved wife of Bruce Down for 67 years. Survived also by daughters Susan (Peter Knowlton), Patti (Gord Sharp), Jennifer (Mike Kennedy), daughter-in-law Jill Arbuthnot-Down (predeceased by son Phillip). Special Grandmother to 11 and Great Grandmother to 9.

As per Joan’s wishes a Celebration of Life will be held at Ebenezer United Church, 1669 Courtice Rd, Courtice, on Monday June 17 at 1pm.

If desired, memorial donations can be made to Ebenezer United Church, Hyland Hills United Church Minden or a Charity of your choice.
