It was a joy to get to know and hang out with Audrey these past few years. It was especially precious knowing that she had been a good friend to my Oma Alida when they had been neighbours. Audrey was able to share stories of the two of them that I had never heard. She was always so pleased with a visit and loved chatting. She had a spunk about her that even in her 90's shone through and was always up for anything. She loved attending all the events and making friends with everyone she met. She taught me to make butterkoek, was always very complimentary and loved recalling stories from the past, especially ones of her dear husband. My condolences to all of Audrey's family members. She loved each one you very much and prayed for you all daily.
