I will always remember Catherine’s big smile and bubbly personality. She possessed so much inner strength and perseverance to withstand all her medical challenges. When we were kids for ~ 8 years in a row our family (Stan & Annie , and kids Tom(me), Bev Carole and Peter ) would also come and stay at the Down farmhouse on Christmas Eve and we would spend Christmas morning with Catherine and her brothers. Great memories. Of course we couldn’t open our gifts or stockings until the milking was done and until Wes and Stan came back from the barn. Greta and Wes and all the children always made us feel at home. Catherine continued the tradition of her parents in always making people feel welcomed and appreciated. Everyone was blessed to know her. Tom Snowden

Catharine was a beautiful person with such a big heart. I really enjoyed working alongside her in 2009/2010. She was a kind, caring soul who would give you the shirt off her back! She was always real with you. She stood beside me over the years when I was at a very low point in my life. The last time I saw her was in 2016. She ran to me with a huge hug and I felt so loved and embraced by her. I was blessed to know her. Condolences to all who love her
