The LORD took unto Himself after a lengthy illness on Tuesday July 20, 2010 at Strathaven Lifecare Centre Age 81 years Beloved husband of Toni. Loving father of Ann Devos (Eric); Simon (Patty); Lisa Doorenspleet (Dave) and John. Cherished Pake of Trevor, Sheryl, Larissa, Sheenah, Kole, Ryan, Mark, Melissa, Kurt, Jolene, Julia, Gerrit, Owen, Cassandra, William and great- grandfather of Damion, Mya, Kyle and Jacob. Dear brother of Rose &Walter Piersma, Trish & Richard Bouwma; Evelyn & John Thies and the late Peter, Geertje, Tina, Shirley and Hetty. Survived by his sister-in-law Judy Buma. Visitation will be held at THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Friday July 23rd, 2010 from 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at MARANATHA CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, Haines & Hwy #2, Bowmanville, on Saturday July 24, 2010 at 11am. Interment Bowmanville Cemetery.
