from Harris. George, I've missed you everyday. Today I've been thinking about so many amazing experiences with you, and how you've impacted our lives for nearly several decades. Three years ago on my birthday, I remember you made a pattywack joke and gave me wireless earbuds as a gift. I'm thankful for the memories we've had like talking about life, serious stuff, or jokes, and going out to watch movies. May you have peace up there

We had the pleasure of getting to know George while he was staying at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. George and my father shared a room and became quite close. They shared a love for the oldies and talked sports. George was an interesting man with many many talents and spoke about his accomplishments with great pride. George was very protective of his friends and the family that he was graciously brought into. He beamed while talking about Humera, her siblings, and her parents. I could see that Humera was the daughter he wished he had and that her friendship meant the world to him. I am glad that I got to know George, and we will all miss him.
