Obituary of Robert John Allen

Retiree of General Motors It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) John Allen in his 82nd year at Lakeridge Health Oshawa with his family by his side on May 3, 2013 Partner and best friend of Gladys "Ginny" Ellis for 38 years. Caring father of Stephen (Debbie) Allen, Catherine (Mike) Bulger and step-daughter Cheryl Francis (Rod Plain). Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Mark and Paul Allen, Sadie, Ryan, Jay, Thomas and Sierra Bulger, Jesse and Katie Francis. Predeceased by his parents Elsie & James Allen. Survived by his brother Donald (Jeannie) Allen of Annapolis Royal, NS and sister Anne (Walt) Bathe of Stratford, ON. Bob was a devoted baseball fan who loved to watch his Blue Jays win. He bowled ten pins for 60 years at Eastway Lanes. Thank you to the nurses on 7G at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their loving care.
