We have wonderful memories of our times together December 1997 in. Vancouver. We were able to introduce Kirsten to friends and share many happy moments with her and Jamie (brother). We visited again in September 2001when Jamie was married and were able to enjoy all the family together. These memories will last forever.

I am so sorry. Peter, Pete, Marg and Jamie, my heart is heavy. Thoughts and prayers are with you all. Regretfully, we lost touch in later years, but the years we did have are cherished. I have to giggle when I think of Kirsten as my little 'interpreter' when no one else could understand Jamie's baby talk. We spent many, many happy, fun filled hours together and those memories will always have a special place in my heart.
Love Aunt Sybil

We would like to offer our sincere condolences to the Lunny family and all those touched by the untimely death of Kirsten. I have fond memories of Kirsten and her siblings visiting our cottage in North Bay and spending hot summer days swimming, hiking and hitch hiking our way to buy ice cream cones. Our family also had some memorable visits to Bowmanville where I remember playing hide and seek in that big, beautiful old house with my cousins. I am thankful for some wonderful childhood memories, she will be missed.

Kirsten was my cousin. We were close in age and had a lot of fun together in our childhood years. Some of my fondest memories are at our cottage in North Bay when Kirsten and her family would come to visit. We would spend the days climbing "the mountain" and swimming in the lake while our mothers enjoyed their time together. I am so sorry for your loss (Pete, Marg, and Jamie) and I pray that Kirsten is reunited with her mom and brother in heaven

My heart is heavy knowing my only sister just a year older than me has passed on. We played in the big snow mountains of Montreal as young children, enjoyed our big playroom, trips to the Bowmanville farm and our Christmas mornings. We had fun, when we were the only two, but then we had two more brothers. I think you thought they were dolls for you to play with. Always doing things for Chris and Jamie. Eventually, you even talked for Jamie! LOL. Some people said we looked like the 'Campbell soup kids'. Our freckles, and dark hair we shared those qualities. Although, you weren't crazy about either. You didn't even like your name. I was just glad I wasn't the only one with these features.
I enjoyed seeing you at Jamie's wedding and reminiscing about our youth. Being the best man, didn't allow me enough time to spend with you. Watching you with my son Michael sleeping in your arms brought me back to how much you loved being with children and again, how much you watched over our baby brother Jamie.
Your love of reading passed onto me. I have many of your books now and look forward to reading them knowing that you read them as well. I will miss you Kirsten.
Love Pete

Kirsten was an intelligent, spontaneous, fun-loving soul. My fondest memory was visiting her in BC in 1994, when I was 7 months pregnant with my daughter Katie. I stayed overnight with Kirsten. We talked and laughed all night. She pampered the 'prego' lady with an amazing foot rub. She was so good to me. Another memory is the girl's night out before my wedding in 1988. We rented a limo and went out on the town. Laughing and acting like fools at the young age of 24-25.
Kirsten loved to read. Books and wine, is all you need to dine, she said! Her beautiful black curly hair, that she hated, by I loved. Her beautiful blue eyes. Her striking smile and infectious laugh. Her quirky gestures and funny faces etched in my mind forever. I cherished every moment I spent with her. Her memory will forever be strong in our hearts.
Love you KiKi
