Dear Dave and Carol,
We are so sorry for the loss of your mom. She raised a beautiful son in you, Dave, and that is the greatest legacy of all.

Our thoughts and condolences are with Ada's family. We remember her as a lady who was always dressed nicely along with a happy personality . She had a good sense of humour and was life wise in her conversations. She usually liked to say it as it is, what was on her mind, but that also included kind and understanding thoughts. We've been reflecting on that generation that have passed and miss their presence

Since I'm the oldest of the cousins on the Veenstra side, I have memories of aunt Ada's parents from when I was a wee lad. They always carried themselves with such a regal bearing! It seems to me that there was some of that in Ada as well, but with a soft twinkle in her friendly smile. A lovely woman, and no doubt an awesome mother. As for the next generation, you three daughters have it too! Soft smiles, albeit now with just a tiny tear in the corner of the eye... Heaven beckons to us all!

My deepest sympathy goes out to all of Ada’s family and friends, may The Lord give everyone strength, comfort and peace at this time. I met Ada years ago at her granddaughter’s baby shower and it was so easy for me to see from getting to chat with her how kind, joyful and lovely she was..I connected with her easily. My heart goes out to all of her family and friends, I captured a few pictures from the day I met her, she has a beautiful smile.
