Peter Woods

April 21, 1959- February 19, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected death of a loving husband, father, son and brother, Peter Woods. Peter was born in Deep River and grew up in Mississauga. He moved out to Bowmanville/ Newcastle and worked at Darlington Nuclear Power Generation, which he retired from a few years ago as an Authorized Nuclear Operator.

He was a kind gentle man who loved kids and dogs.

Peter is predeceased by his parents Ralph and Margaret Woods and his brother Jim Woods all from Mississauga. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Christine and son, Cameron. He will also be greatly missed by his brother Doug (Linda) from Kingston, his sister Lucy from Sauble/ Beach, Nancy (Tina) of Mississauga, and sister-in-law Marie (Jim’s wife). Peter will also be missed by nephews Stephen, Brian, Kevin and Jeremy, his nieces Amy; Christy and his 11 great nieces and nephews.

 A memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 6, 2024, from 12:00pm – 1:00pm and a Memorial Service to follow at 1:00pm. at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street North Bowmanville. Donations can be made to Sick Kids in lieu of flowers.
