Debbie & Family: I am sorry to have been unable to attend the Tribute to a Fellow Official. I have many memories of working on the ice with Alan (namely watching him tape his ankles - “as they do with race horses”) and then hitting the ice with a friend. It was a pleasure, enjoyable and entertaining to be on the same ice. Will always speak fondly of Alan. Another ‘good one’ gone to the Heavenly Arena.
Trust family is well.
Sincerely
Bryan LEWIS

Dear Debbie, Marilyn and all families - - Jane and I send our deepest sympathy to all of you on Alan's passing. I've known Alan from 'way back to Grades 2-4 days at Mitchell's Corners School and then many years went by that I didn't see him, but I heard about all of his wonderful accomplishments. Losing such a vibrant person from our midst is very tough and we pray for your Peace and Strength to comfort you as you go forward knowing that Alan will be watching over all of you from his new home in the heavenly realm. May your many memories always be in your hearts and minds and another great source of feeling his presence. God Bless all of you. Jane and Ashton McMaster.

Debbie and Family;
I worked alongside Alan at Sears for almost 20 years. It was always a bonus when Alan was on my shift. He had this positive and bright vibe about him that made our workplace a great place to be. We all had lots of laughs. His sense of humour was refreshing.I loved to hear his hockey stories. He was a real people person, well respected and admired by many.
Rest in peace Alan. Thanks for the impact you have made!

Debbie and family,
Sincere sympathy in Al’s passing. As well as being a cousin we both played soccer in our younger years. Occasionally we were on the same bus to high school. More recently we had visits together discussing old times with many laughs. I enjoyed the stories he could tell about his years in hockey.
Al was a true friend to many.
Rest in peace Al.

I have a video of Al breaking up a typical hockey brawl. He ended up in the penalty box where part of the fight took place
