Uncle Bob and family, I was so sorry to hear about Aunt Mary Ellen’s passing. You and her were so important to me growing up. I loved our visits to you when I was small and I felt like you were an extra set of grandparents! She had such a great laugh and dry sense of humour. My condolences to all of you.

Uncle Bob, Margaret, Joe and Anita: I join my siblings and cousins in sending my heartfelt condolences. Mary Ellen was the most supportive, accepting, grounded person in our whole extended family; your annual family visits from Ontario to NL were as important and memorable to us as I know they were to you. Behind those undoubtedly challenging, but successfully executed, pilgrimages, Mary Ellen was the very definition of patience, grace, and most of all, humour - that marvellous laugh! We loved it when you arrived each year, and we loved her - may she rest in peace.

I am saddened to learn of this dear sweet lady's passing. She had a wonderful sense of humor and an uncanny way of "delivering " just the right comment at the right time to make everyone burst into laughter. She will be missed by all of us who knew her, but we all were also very blessed to have her in our lives. Condolences to Uncle Bob and her children and family.
