Dearest Betty and Family, we were very sorry about Henry’s passing. Wonderful memories are above and beyond of all the years we had spent with Henry and Betty. From the plane rides to the boat rides into Fenelon Falls with Henry at the helm flying or driving. Henry was a gentle man who could tell you how something was built or he could fix anything electrical, which he did many times for us. You as his immediate family will miss him very much, as so will we and our family. Love to you all, Claire and Lynda Glendinning and Jamie Glendinning and his Family

Sorry to hear of Henry's passing. My condolences to all of the family. I worked with Henry in the North Stamping Plant for a few years. Henry was a fun loving, dedicated, easy going person to have as a partner. It was a pleasure knowing him. He took me up for a flight in his plane to Minden in the fall (years ago) and that was a real treat to see the leaves and lakes. Henry was well respected by everyone in the plant and a fine example of what a person should be. I am glad we crossed paths. May he rest in peace. David Reesor

I remember being little and going over to visit grandma and grandpa in the evening. I always loved to visit and see their dog. Some nights we would go downstairs, grandpa would throw the ball against the wall and the dog would go crazy and fly across the room. He kept a secret stash of dried pears that his mom made on the windowsill. They were always in a milk bag tied with a copper wire. If you knew grandpa well, this wouldn’t surprise you. He would share a few and tell us funny stories of when he was little or things that happened in the day to day. Of all the fun trips and adventures we went on, these smaller, seemingly insignificant moments are the ones that I’ll remember most. To a life well lived!

Gonna try this again, first attempt failed using FB ID. I have a fond memory shortly after marrying into the family. On my first day back to work I was Tee boned in an accident on the driver's side. Henry left work to see if I was OK. When I showed him the car he hugged me and we shared some tears as we realized that the accident could have been the end of me. That's when I knew Henry loves deeply! I have many good memories with Henry too many to list here! Henry always took an interest in whatever I was into, as he had a wild and crazy side as well. He had an Indian Motorcycle before marriage, and when I got into Motorcycles during college, Henry was considering getting his M license as well. He borrowed my first bike at the cottage but had a mishap in Coboconk when he slid on some lose sand on a corner. He protected my bike with his leg when he went down. The bike was fine but Henry's leg was not. He was on crutches for weeks and his plans to get his M license was quelled.
