A lot of people will tell you what a wonderful man your Dad was. But no one know this better than the person who he loved most… YOU! Our hearts are breaking for you. Your Dad was sooo proud to call you his son, he loved you with all his heart & soul. Every time you miss your dad…close your eyes and remember the moments you smiled and laughed together & there were many. Every time you break down at the thought of missing your dad, remember that he’d be proud to see you pick yourself up and move on. Yes, that’s easier said than done but I know that you'll find the strength. This is going to be one of the toughest times in your life, but you & your Dad had a bond like no other. Death may have taken your Dad away, but he’ll always be here with you… just close your eyes and listen to your heart.
Love you Bud! ❤️

I have such great memories of Randy. I have not seen Randy in years and was saddened to hear the news. I used to hang out with his sister Kim back in the day and I recall how kind Randy was when I went to their house. He always greeted me with that big smile and loudly said "Little Brauner". LOL, he made me feel so good. As long as I knew Randy he sported that nicely feathered back long hair, I never knew if he actually had ears. Later in life, I used to hang around Henry's garage on Scugog Street when Randy worked there with Scott Hodgson and Henry Szemiot (who has also passed). We would spend the time talking, joking and once the garage closed we would drink beer, sometimes right into the next morning. Often from there, we progressed to the Bowmanville routine which was: TJ's on Thursdays, Castle on Fridays and Marina on Saturdays. I recall shooting my mouth off and Randy protecting me, which happened more than once, mostly because of my big mouth. Randy was kind but he was also protective and wouldn't hesitate to help you out in a bind. I bought my first nice vehicle off Randy, it was a GM truck and it was in pristine condition, other than two bullet holes that Donny shot into it trying to shoot a coyote. The truck was a "three on the tree" (for those of you that remember those) and Randy took the time to teach me how to drive three on the tree after I bought the truck from him. There so many fun times, so many laughs but the thing I will always remember about Randy was how kind he was to me when I was just a young lad. Thanks for that Randy and rest in peace.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of Randy's family and friends. Letter to my brother in heaven. They say there is a reason, they say time will heal. Neither time or reason will change the way I feel; Gone are the days we use to share, but in my heart you are always there. The gates of memories will never close. I miss you more than anybody knows. Love and miss you everyday, till we meet again xoxo Kimberley and Latch
