George lived in our neighborhood. We met him walking his dog, Molly. This was a twice daily event.
We enjoyed visiting George and Clare with our grandpuppy - Finn. Both of them grew to love Finn and it was a mutual experience. Finn was always happy to have George and Clare as dog sitters. And Finn loved the treats at every visit.
George was a sincere, kind and generous person. We enjoyed his friendship.
Finn will continue to visit with Clare and enjoy the treats.

George was a much liked long time band member of New Horizons music and really enjoyed playing his saxaphone with us as much as we enjoyed having him with us, a lovely man who will be missed both at music and at Wilmot Creek. Our heartfelt condolences to Clare and family. Ron and Loraine Christianson.

I am Joe Ingoldsby - George’s nephew. He was a very cool and level headed uncle. When the Eaton Centre expanded to become flushed to Simpson’s department store in 1979, I would see Uncle George most weekday mornings during his and my coffee breaks at the newly opened Druxy’s. He would be amongst his colleagues from Bell Canada at a table and I would be with my colleagues from Simpson’s at another table. We would always exchange greetings and engage in some small talk. I left Simpson’s in 1984 and although I missed seeing Uncle George at those morning coffee breaks, it was always great to see him at family gatherings. RIP Uncle George.

George was a longtime member of our band, Lakeshore New Horizons. He contributed greatly to the band both as a sax player and as a kind hearted colleague. He will be truly missed. My condolences to All of George’s loved ones.
