My heartfelt condolences to all the family of Phyllis. It’s never easy losing a loved one and one that is the rock and glue of keeping a family together and creating lasting memorable moments that will last forever in your hearts. Phyllis was a caring, comforting loving soul which showed through her nursing years and the raising of four beautiful, strong loving ladies (along with Bert). You can see and feel the compassion she had and shared as a Nana and GG through her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Phyllis and Bert were long time caring neighbours of our family many years ago and always offered their help if needed.

To all the family members, please accept these words of condolences from Eileen Stapleton and her family. Phyllis was a true friend and sister (inlaw) to Eileen since their childhood together on neighbouring farms and married the Stapleton brothers (Bert and Don). She was a super Aunt to Barb, Gary, Neil, Lois and their families. We all have fond memories growing up and spending time with Uncle Bert, Aunt Phyllis and the girls. Although she has gone, we are certain she will live on forever in our and her families memories for years to come. May she rest in peace. I met Mr. and Mrs. (Phyllis) Stapleton back in the '70's when I was working in TO with Gloria. She asked me several weekends to her parents' home in Bowmanville and they graciously welcomed me. I'll never forget it was just like going home to visit my own parents, but they lived about six and a half hours away. My deepest sympathy to all of Phyllis' family who will feel such a deep loss. Keep your beautiful memories close in your heart and she will always be with you.
