There is something about May 20th
My mom, dad, brothers, Hank, Tom, Russ & myself arrived in Canada from Holland on May 20th.
It was my dad's birthday May 20th and now the last brother I had passed away on May 20th.
The thing I remember the most of my brother was his singing. All my brothers had beautiful voices, but Russ had almost a yodel when he sang. Many people were privileged to hear him play his guitar and sing in different settings.
As he was declining in health, one of the last things he did was call me by my Dutch name "Hanneke"
Rest in Peace, we will miss you.
