Dearest Colette, Jordan, Ashlyn, Meagan,
Pete was the best of the best. It's not often you meet someone who makes it their lives purpose to let you know how much they love their life, job, wife, children and grandchildren. Pete did this unabashedly. He was someone who openly showed you how he felt. I always admired that about him. I'm so so sorry for you all. Life just isnt fair and this is one of those times. May rest in eternal peace.

I knew Peter in Highschool and even though we did not hang out with the same group of people we did have a few classes together. I remember he was someone who got to know everyone he met and loved to get everyone laughing.
From the stories I have been reading it looks like he didn't change.

Words can not begin to describe how amazing Peter was. He was always welcoming and loving and was like a second father to me when I was 19/20. I will forever cherish the memories I had with him. My condolences go out to the Secord family as I can not imagine what they are going through right now.

Oh Colette, I am so sorry for your loss; my heart breaks for you. Pete was such a great guy and he loved you so very much. My heart goes out to you, Jordan, Ashlyn and Meagan. Peter was one of the first people we met when we moved to Bowmanville, our daughters went to school together. Over the years I got to know the family. Peter loved to talk, was always good for a laugh and just a wonderful person to be around. I will never forget his facial expressions and when I think of Pete I will always smile. He was a wonderful man, extremely loved father and adored husband. He will be fondly remembered by anyone who’s lives he touched. My heart is with his family now and always. Rest in peace buddy. Pete from the first time I met him ( through Dwayne) welcomed me with open arms...he was such an easy person to talk to and be around. The stories him and Dwayne would share from on the road always brought so much laughter.....he will be greatly missed and always remembered.
