Just heard about Steve's passing. My sincerest condolences to Joy and family. Worked with Steve from his start at the gas company in the early 70s. Many memories of fishing trips, baseball and football games back in our early days in the drafting department. So sorry to hear about this.

Dear Joy, Leah and Danielle :
The news of Steve’s passing has brought great sadness to Marlene, Meghan & I.Too many memories to begin!
I’ve known Steve since 1976 and my days at Consumers’ Gas. He was a Draftsman and respected Pipeline Inspector where he made his mark. Many a ‘big inch’ project was successful due to Steve’s oversight.
He was my go-to guy on many projects!
His good-loving nature and practical approach were his strengths; a real team player at work or on the ball diamond!
We had great times in the bush too as Steve’s love of the outdoors led a group of dedicated friends on annual canoe trip ‘pilgrimages’. You could always be guaranteed a good meal & great fireside chats with the odd ‘blood transfusion’ beverage!
Our daughter was Steve & Joy’s flower girl - a memory she has to this day! We recall many a wknd at the cottage be it X-country skiing or just hanging out.
He will be sorely missed by All.
RIP,
Gary, Marlene & Meghan Carroll
