August 18, 1946 – March 22, 2023

 

Passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa

 

Much loved husband of Jessica for 52 years.  Adoring dad of Barbara (Eric) Sparkes and cherished Opa of Colton.  Loving brother of Toni (Mike) Shore, Cory Arts and Peter (Peggy) Arts.  Nick was predeceased by his parents Petrus & Catharina Arts and sister Heather Arts-McCabe.  He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends.

 

Nick retired from Chrysler Canada after 30 years of service, retiring as the Production Manager.  He was a longtime member and former Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council 6361.  He was a wonderful volunteer and he will be missed by all who knew him.

 

 

Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Wednesday March 29th from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. JOSEPH’S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, on Thursday March 30th at 11 am.  Interment at Bowmanville Cemetery.    Memorial Donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul or The Cancer Society.  To view the Mass virtually, please use the link below:
