I have fond memories of numerous trips to the Bass hole on Bowmanville creek only to discover that Frank had bested several rainbow trout in advance of my arrival.
His intimate knowledge of what approach and bait to use always impressed me.
Drift fishing with him on Lake Kashwakamak, listening to his advice on how to detect the most subtle strike of a hungry walleye was priceless.
Late night euchre, cribbage and rummoli games at his parents cottage, the smell of a wood stove burning mingled with coffee purcolating, walleye baked in pancake batter, home fries and eggs while discussing where to drop a line I will always treasure.
Listening to Van Morrison’s “Into The Mystic”, the smell of pipe tobacco followed by a visit to Shoepac Lake for specs! Thank you Frank for sharing these moments with me and for making me a part of your life.
RIP dear friend….
