It’s With hearts full of love and sadness that we announce Cecilia Elizabeth Bastien (nee Little) loving daughter, wife, and mother passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on March 5, 2023.
At the young age of 55.
Cecilia was predeceased by her father Eugene Little and niece / “her buddy” Emily. Survived by her mother Georgina Little. Beloved wife of Allan for 32 years, loving mother of three children Chelsea, Austin and Carter. Companion to her dear Stella. Sister in law to Corinne (Rob), and aunt to Melissa, Mathew, Olivia (Kyle).
Fondly remembered by her many friends and extended family.
Cecilia was a true inspiration in all aspects, her fight for life was contagious. She was a warrior until the end. She brightened any room she entered, and as she would say herself ‘you can’t always get what you want, but if you try sometimes you may just find you get what you need.’
Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Thursday March 9th from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday March 10th at 1 pm. Memorial Donations may be made to Sunnybrook Foundation or Emily MacDonald PAWSitivity Fund.
