No gift, no matter how sweet, could ever mean as much to me as just being able to hold your hand in the final moments.
The more enriched a person makes our lives, the harder it is for us to let them go.
I know that saying good-bye to Wayne was the hardest sorrow to bear.
Always in my heart forever,
With my love
Debbie

From teaching me the art of sealing a driveway to hanging out and sharing laughs, we won't forget the debates and opinions shared. You will be missed Wayne, you were a close friend and a family member to McClure Crescent. My condolences to the family and to Debbie Desjardins.

We were lucky to have Wayne, or as I would often call him, Harv, in our lives for 25+ years and built so many wonderful memories along the way. One that I will always remember is living room karaoke, Wayne would kick off the night with Pink's, "Get The Party Started" and that he did! He was the first one to hit the dance floor at any celebration and was always there to lend a helping hand. You will be greatly missed and will live on in our hearts music man!
Love always, Daynette and Eddie XOXO

Condolences on the loss of the Wayner.
Over the last 20yrs as we got to. Know each other we built a mutual love for each other.
The kindest words from my bud, I’m proud to call you Stepson. I told him that I truly loved him for who he was, and called him #1 Step dad. Wayner you have a special place in my heart, for your love of music, and sharing your art with all of us, your family.
I will only dwell on the Wayne that would have a beer, a toke, and a good joke.
No more pain, back with those you’ve lost, I just know that you’re jammin with some of the greats! Love you infinity Step dad, until we meet again!
Jason Desjardins xoxo

“Grandpa” Wayne was with my Nanny Deb for many years, through most of my childhood. We spent some time living with them when I was 15. I can hear him grumbling now at the many times the house phone would ring and it would be for me. He treated me as one of his own, often referring to me as “brittley” and I was so lucky to have him around as a bonus grandparent. He had a great taste in music, as I would often steal his cd’s and I had come to appreciate these artists. There is a line in the song Sweet thing by Van Morrison that reminds me of him “ and I shall drive my chariot down your streets and cry, he it’s me I’m dynamite and I don’t know why”. He fought hard until the very end and that shows his true character, resilient . You will be greatly missed by all of us xo

I feel so blessed that my dad decided to organize a reunion party where we all came together to reminisce, watch the kids be kids, dance and listen to dad play some of his songs for all of us. It was a wonderful time and reminds us all of how important family is. Dad was also celebrating his 80th birthday
Ron, Ken, Jojo and I stayed the night and spent the next day hanging out with dad and Debbie and enjoyed catching up and sharing memories together.
We got to spend Christmas together and he was such a trooper because his health had really taken a toll on him, but he wanted to be with his family. That was the last time I saw him but I will keep these memories etched in my mind and you close to my heart until we meet again. Love your little girl Laura Xo
