So many memories in my lifetime. I have photos of Enid holding me as an infant, since I was the first grandchild and niece. We had many family gatherings over the years and I was honoured to be her junior bridesmaid at their wedding. She was always kind and caring toward all the children. I also remember sad times when her two babies were lost due to spinal bifida. She and uncle Don always made the drive in to Weston for any and all special occasions. When they purchased the cottage on Harp Lake, I remember swimming over to their dock for a visit or Enid would swim over to my parents’ cottage. When I was tidying up old photos from mom and dad’s collection, we spent time on FaceTime asking her to name the people in the old photos. What a great memory she had until just a few short years ago.
