Dear Jane
We have managed to stay in contact since we first met at the family farm in Bowmanville in 1977 when I was a Paeds resident with Professor Mike Partington. This a testament to your endurance and loyalty. I shall miss our annual exchange of news at Christmas.
God Bless You.

My deepest condolences to the Woodley family. I will always remember Jane with fondness and feel privileged to have memories of great laughter and fun. I don't think I ever saw her without that twinkle in her eye. She exuded warmth and affection for all that knew her. In more recent years while married to Glen a real matriarch and leader joined my mom's extended family. She will be missed by many and has left a legacy of kindness behind her.

Pat, Diane, Susan and Jimmy,
Please accept my condolences on the loss of your great Mother. She was one of a kind, as it didn’t matter where or when she saw you, she always made the point of saying hello. It always amazed me how she remembered the names of all the people who knew here kids, it must be the characteristic of a great teacher and Mother.
Take comfort that your family has lovely memories to share with so many. Please be assured you are all in my thoughts and prayers asking God to provide you with support for each other, knowing your wonderful Mother is now comfortably at rest.
“Mothers hold their children’s hands for a short while, but their hearts forever. How fortunate you are to have something that makes saying goodbye so very hard.”
With deepest sympathy,

She made everyone feel comfortable in her presence, and she had a good sense of humor. Hers was a life well lived. Rest in peace and God bless on her next journey.

My mum Patricia and Jane were cousins and they became pen friends from the day they could write. Letters passing from Canada to England as children and then crossing continents in adulthood at last four times to see each other. Family folklore is that they promised each other their first born girls would be called after each other. So we have Pat, Jane’s eldest, and I am Jane. Auntie Jane was an amazingly positive and kind human being. She had a wonderful glint in her eye, and a mischievous humour - and will absolutely have touched the lives of her own and everyone she connected with. I am honoured in knowing her and carrying her name. My condolences to Pat, Claire, Susan and Jim and their partners, and her many beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. The world has lost a little of its gold with auntie Jane now gone. An immensely impactful human being. RIP Jane.

So sorry to hear of Jane's passing. It was a privilege to know her over so many years. I had her as a supply teacher many times and the class was well-behaved when she taught (because she knew our parents!). It was great working with her on the Courtice Band Parents' Association years ago and talking with her at many church functions in the years that followed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
