Today, I was totally shocked to hear of Helen’s passing….I always loved visits with her, generally at Music in the Park. We talked of her life in Tyrone, her family and as everyone has said, she was a lovely Genteel lady..,,will miss that big smile.
God gave you Rest Helen, but you will not be forgotten.. Hugs to Grant and the family.

Helen was one of the kindest and happiest people and she was an inspiration to me during my days of loss several years ago. She was a bright light every time I saw her in Church and although I live far away from NFBC now, I have never forgotten Helen and her wonderful family. Grant and family, I send my sincere condolences... Penny (Maring)

Grant, Lynda, Peter, and Paul,
It was with sadness that we received the news of Helen's death. The positive aspect of that message was that your family was together and had, likely spent Christmas with her. We have so many memories of Grant and Helen from the Ebenezer community and church. Helen was always so supportive and positive. She had a great sense of style. Helen was a quiet centre of influence with her family and passed on many qualities that will live on in her children and grandchildren. Grant and Helen were role models for how a life should be shared. Helen will be remembered with love.

Dearest Grant, Paul, Vicki, kiddos and the entire Herron family, you have my deepest sympathy.
Helen had touched my life in many ways over the many years of knowing her. Seeing her every Thursday at the office.. remembering her encouraging words, uplifting stories, love and support through my trying times and her endearing smile that would brighten any room. Oh, and those Christmas squares, I looked forward to them every year! What a genuine treasure she was and a blessing to all who knew her. I thank our Lord for sharing such a wonderful woman with us...
And to know that she went to be with the Lord on my birthday, will be something special we will always share.
Helen will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Most sincerely with all my love and prayers,
Michele Valentino
God's deepest peace be with you all xo
