Surrounded by her loving family, Cora was taken Home to be with her Lord and Saviour at Lakeridge Health Whitby on December 29th, 2022
Beloved wife of Marinus Visser and the late Leo Lootsma. Loving mother of Deb (Wayne) Mendes de Franca, Ron (Suzette) Lootsma and the late Fred Lootsma. Dear step-mother of Ben (Terri) Visser, Peter (Melanie) Visser, Mike (Melanie) Visser and Karin (Rob) Worden. Oma will be sadly missed by her grandchildren: Jasmine (Jordan), Teija (Harrison), Callum (Taylor), Rory (Danelle), Holden, Jeremy (Bridget), Benjamin (Katie), Kaitlin, Joshua (Jasmin), Skylar, Mariekka, Ryan, Candice (Martin), Meghan, Jocelyn (Evan), Kurtis and Christopher as well as her great-grandchildren Sage, Riley, Luke, Wyatt, Summer, Jacob, Olivia, Benjamin, Walter & Louis. Dear sister of Edna (the late Peter) Buma and Jennie (the late Andrew) Mast and the late Jan (Flossie) Bolhuis and Irene McMillan. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother in law Wayne McMillan as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held at HEBRON CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 4240 Anderson Street Whitby on Friday January 6th, 2023 from 4 – 7 pm. Private Interment at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens. A Celebration of Cora’s life will be held at Durham Christian Homes, 200 Glen Hill Drive South on Saturday January 7th, 2023 at 1 pm. Arrangements entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street North Bowmanville. Memorial Donations may be made to World Renew.
