I am grateful to have shared some special memories with Richard & Corine in Croatia en route to Montenegro. We laughed a lot, watched a beautiful sunset & I remember being charmed by Richard’s presence - he was a wonderful storyteller & embraced every moment of life. My sincere condolences to the family i Canada & Holland. I will always be inspired by his happy. Joyful & generous spirit. Love Carrie Shaw

So sorry to hear of Richard’s passing. I got to know him when I would go to visit with my mom at the Creek and he always enjoyed a good chat. He will be missed. My condolences to the family.

We have fond memories of time spent with Richard in Montenegro and traveling in Spain. He was always cheerful and he had that gift of being able to socialize with people from many generations and cultures. We are fortunate to have known him.

We were shocked to hear of the sudden passing of Ome Richard. We remember him as a kind and loving uncle. Also happy to engage, fun and optimistic. We wish the family many happy memories and strength to adjust to his passing.
Warm regards,
Henry and Nicole Goverde

One of the benefits of growing older is that there are many more memories to remember and cherish. Sharing in your grief and in gedachten zijn wij bij jullie.

Richard will be missed by our family. One of my father’s greatest friends, as he was with my brother Ken and myself. With a smile and a warm hug, he had a way of making you feel like family. Richard always had a candy (a Ricola) for my kids any time we met him. We’ve laughed together in the good times, and cried together in the bad. With Richard, there was always more laughter than tears.
With loving thoughts and prayers,
The Auger Family

I never had the privilege of meeting Richard but working alongside you, Corine, I feel like I knew him. I enjoyed hearing stories about his daily life and hearing you, Corine, recount his history left a great impression on me. Knowing you both, Corine and Monique, and your beautiful outlook on life, I know how important family is to you all and I know how great the loss of your dad is to you, to Jaci, and to each member of the family, near and far. Sending love to each one of you.
