I am so very, very sad to hear of Fred's passing. I worked for Fred in OPG Head Office in Toronto for several years. He was a true gentleman. One of the best times of my career was working for Fred. Always remember that sense of humor and cheeky smile. One of the good ones who made a huge difference to my life. My condolences to Freds family. He will be missed.

I remember Mr Fitzsimmons from about 33 years ago when we lived on Slater Crescent and I went over to play with Ashley every day! He was always happy, and he had the greatest laugh! My sincere condolences to your family during this difficult time.

My condolences to the Fitzsimmons family. I worked for Fred at Pickering NGS for several years and appreciated his sense of humour and fairness. My mother met him on a station tour one time and they talked about their Irish backgrounds

Paul and I have remained friends for 30+ years since living across the hall from each other at University.
Fred and Patricia welcomed me into their home for holiday breaks as I was a foreign student. I will never forget the kindness and warmth extended to me during that time. Rest peacefully Fred and I know you are now with your love again. Xo

Our heart felt sympathy to Jason, Paul, Adam, Ashley and families in the passing of your father. We have many special memories of times spent with Fred & Pat over the years. We trust that memories of happier times with him will help you all through the difficult days ahead. Will always remember the “Irish Tenor” keeping us entertained. Daryl spent some good times with him in Dominican a couple of weeks ago - Fred was going to bring his new Jag to show him.

So very sorry to hear of Freds passing. Gloria and I always enjoyed Fred and Pats company sharing weekends with them in their home in Newcastle and on holiday with them over the years. I am so glad that I got to spend time with him last month in the Dominican Republic. I think he really enjoyed his time there . Will miss his stories
