I was on Bowmanville Rotary a few years ago for a short while. During my time there I always looked forward to weekly meetings for breakfast. Not for the food of course but that I got to spend time sitting across from Bob. He was so welcoming and friendly and loved to tell me stories about the good old days, his farming in the past, and always had a smile on his face.
I am ao sad to hear of his passing but he is with his wife who he loved and talked about so much. Such a sweet soul he was. He will be deeply missed. My heart goes out to all of his family.

I've know Bob since the early 40's when he delivered milk to my street. He picked up milk from our milk tank for his dairy. I sat behind him and Jean in Church. We've had a long friendship. We both lived in Seasons Retirement Home for several years. I'm sure you have lots of lovely memories as well.
