Laurence, was one of a kind, funny, witty and a heart of gold. It was a pleasure to have known you and to be at your wedding to Karen, the love of your life. The first time I met you was in Oran Mor, and when i fell off my seat you helped me back up. That was the kind of guy you were. A friend who will be truly missed and who has left lasting memories with everyone he knew.

Many fond memories of the big chap. Nights out, skiing holidays, always filled with laughter. An introduction to Frank Zappa on a Friday night in Maidstone and I couldn't stop laughing. Every time I listen to Joe's Garage, I think of Laurence laughing at the songs and playing his air drums. I will remember that night for evermore. Every time I listen to Zappa, I with think of you up there laughing and playing the drums. It was a privilege to have you as a neighbour first, and especially as a friend. So many wonderful memories of one of the nicest, funniest people you could ever meet. You will be sadly missed by me.

The best cousin ever. We spent every harvest and school holiday having such fun. Picking fruit from the orchard. Crops to be harvested. Robert driving the tractor. Laurence and I doing whatever tasks we were set. Best of all he ate my lumpy milk puddings to save me from throwing up!! Legend.
Love and strength to all the family. Marion and family

I will always remember Laurence with a big smile on his face and often going into his office to find him drumming out a tune on his desk with his legs going full speed operating his imaginary drum foot pedals.
My husband Ricky once told me about the time that the two of them while on a works night out found themselves ending the night in a karaoke bar ( which Ricky claimed to hate )
It seems it wasn't long before they were wrestling the microphone from each other in an attempt to belt out their favourite songs.
Later lovely memories include Ricky and I visiting Laurence Karen and the family in their new home in Canada and also attending their beautiful wedding on the beach in Florida.
Rest in peace dear friend.
You were a true gentleman , one of the genuine good guys and it has been my great good fortune to have been your friend and colleague for the last forty plus years.
You will be very sadly missed but I will always remember you with the biggest smile and now thanks to the Florida Boys picture you wearing a Buffalo Bill onesy with a face covered in icing sugar.
Love Cathie xx

Laurence (Big Boy) Fulton - he was our golfing mate for 30 years and will be remembered fondly. We will remember his face covered in icing sugar from Krispy Kreme donuts in the morning; his sun burned head where his baseball cap left a gap at the back; his marking a new ball after putting his first one in the water and then whacking it straight in again; his creation of a new golf shot called the stub which he perfected unfortunately; when eating his burger at lunchtime and being a hungry lad, he ate the napkin as well; from putting his golf ball through Mr Khan's window after saying "Don't be tempted by that tight pin position Larry" - he was bonkers; from parading around in the Buffalo Bills onesy; and his jolly big red face with the permanent smile....you are sorely missed old friend so swing slow on God's hallowed course....The Florida Boys from Beith and beyond (Alex, Bill, Alan, Jackie, John, Ashley, Andy, Gordon, Stewart, Ricky and Len)

Laurence was a good friend and colleague for many years when we both worked for Senate Electrical in Glasgow. A warm hearted, kind, funny, supportive friend with as we all know a great love of golf. Whatever the Scottish weather threw at him, it never detered him from the golf course. I also remember many heated discussions on a Monday morning with his football buddies deciding how they would have played/managed their team's weekend game -Football being another of his passions.
The world is a bit darker without you in it Laurence and you will be sorely missed by everyone past & present who knew you.
Sleep easy my friend
Deepest sympathies to Karen & family
