Obituary of William John Bragg

In his 90th year With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of William John Bragg on Wednesday May 4th, 2016 Bill was the devoted and much loved husband of June Bragg (nee Ashton) and loving father of Allen Bragg (Isabel), Barry Bragg (Jill) and Janet Bridgeman (nee Bragg) (the late Greg Bridgeman). He will be sadly missed by his cherished grandchildren; Mark Bragg (Brittany), Sara Bragg (Chad), Steven Bragg (Janis), Katie Bragg (Vibol), Geoffrey Bridgeman (Loren) and Matthew Bridgeman and his great-granddaughter Brianna Bragg. Bill leaves behind a long legacy; his family, home, work, church, community and politics. He was a lifetime membership at Trinity United Church, where he was very active. He owned Bragg Transport and took immense pride in his farm. He also belonged to the Bowmanville Masonic Lodge, Jerusalem #31 and was past president of the Ontario Liberal Association. His loss will be felt by many.
