Patrick Joseph Coles

Surrounded by his family, Pat passed away peacefully at home on Sunday August 21^st, 2022 at the age of 85 years.

Much loved husband of Fran (nee Quinlan), they would have celebrated their 65^th wedding anniversary this fall.  Proud father of Michael (Jacqualine) Coles, Laurie (Dan) Seltzer, Peter (Renee) Coles and Cheryl (Cameron) Manners.  Pat is now reunited with his beloved daughter Cathy Coles.  Loving remembered by his grandchildren Alexandra, Ethan, Ryan, Alyssa, Kayla, Brady, Alyscia and Jessica and great-grandson Dean. 

Pat was a longtime employee of General Motors, Scarborough Plant.  He was very proud of his time enlisted in the Air Force, which was a dream for him.  He was a proud family man and a lover of animals.  Pat was also looking forward to October 6^th, which would have marked his 44^th anniversary of sobriety.  During these years he was helped by many and in turn helped many.  His smile and wit will be very missed.

Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Wednesday August 24^th, 2022 from 2 – 4 & 6 - 8 pm.  A Legion Service will take place at 5:45 pm.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. JOSEPH’S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 127 Liberty Street South on Thursday August 25^th, 2022 at 11 am.  To view the service virtually, please use the link below.  Cremation will follow with a private interment at St. Luke’s Cemetery, Thornhill.  In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to The Kidney Foundation or The Spina Bifida Association of Canada.
