Dear Scott, Michael, Kim and Kelly
My deepest condolences to all of you as you say goodbye to your mom. Although I was very young, I remember your parents wedding day as your mom looked Iike a princess to me that day. I was quite jealous of her as I thought Uncle Justin was mine but Aunt Iris was so nice to me that I soon got over that.
Being long distance cousins we didn’t grow up close to each other, but from what I did know, Aunt Iris was a fabulous mom with a wonderful sense of humor and a warm and kind friend to all.

Iris was a lovely lady. She was an amazing nurse and cared deeply for her patients. During 1989 -1994when my Mom was a patient at Strathaven, Iris was a devoted caregiving, who kept us posted at all times.. Iris became very close to my whole family. Thank you Iris for being an important part of our lives. We extend our sympathy to all of Iris's family.

I’m at a loss for words, Iris was my moms dear friend (Sharon smart). Iris watched me grow for years and years and was a beautiful person to look up to and learn from. I have many memories working at strathaven, as well as just being apart of our regular life. I’m so sorry for your loss and will keep you in my prayers

We are so sad at Iris' passing. I am Iris' oldest sister now, since my elder sister Mo has also passed. Iris has a very special place in my heart and always will. She used to come and visit me regularly in Peterborough while my late husband was ill and we spent many late evenings laughing and reminiscing. This photo was taken at the Eggsmart in 2019, the last time I was able to visit her in Bowmanville
