Dear Mrs. Hockney, Robin and family, Best times I had ever were playing ringette for Bob's Towing. I remember Mr. Hockney as a kind and generous man. He and Marion made time to pick me up to go to arena and take me to games. I am forever grateful for knowing and sharing my growing years in the company of the Hockneys. I am so sorry for your loss. My deepest condolences with Bob's passing. He not only was there for his community with his towing business and off shoots from that but both he and Marion were also firefighters. Along with me they joined the FD when the Courtice Fire Station first opened in 1979. Gone far too soon.

I am truly sorry to hear of Bobs passing, he was a great guy and along with Marion always made sure those around them were always welcome into their family, he helped me tremendously when I first went to Bowmanville and while I was a member of the Fire Department, sad to see him go

I wrote this on my facebook page but it is so very true. My sister, Marion, could not have found a better person to marry than Bob. By marriage, the Anderson family gained a relative who treated all of us with kindness and generosity. Whenever we tried to pay for a tow call and there were enough, the answer was always, don't worry, we will work something out and that something never came about. Darrin, Robin and Brandi, from the depths of my heart, I am so sorry you did not have a longer time with your dad. Love and hugs, Aunt Pat
