Dearest Dean, your children, the entire Baumhauer family and the entire Stewart family; It is with profound sadness that I am writing this today. I did not know Rebecca had been fighting cancer and my heart is just broken that she has lost her battle. But now she is on her journey onto eternal life and will no longer feel any pain or devastation. I worked with Rebecca at a dental office in Bowmanville for several years. And every shift I had with her was fun and the days just flew by. She was so good with the patients especially the kids. She made them feel comfortable yet she was professional. She was absolutely top-notch and an asset to any office she would have picked. I lived in Newcastle too as well as Rebecca until her and Dean moved to Bowmanville. I remember her getting pregnant with their first born and she looked so cute with that little tummy in her scrubs. We would sit in the lunch room and talk about baby names, nursery themes, and she had so many questions as I had already had my 2 sons. But she was so proud of being married to Dean and so excited to be starting a family. She always talked about her own families and she must have been the greatest wife, mother, daughter and daughter-in-law, among many other titles. She was a beautiful shining gem and her star will never dim. Sing with the angels now Becc. You will never be forgotten and you will always be loved; She was and will still be such a beauty.
