I so enjoyed the opportunity to view "Aunt Lyn's" celebration of life. Her sons' and granddaughters' words painted a very real and beautiful picture of a lovely woman who lived well and generously. My condolences to all the Bantings.

Your mother has been such a special part of your lives for so many years. She’s relieved of her suffering but I’m sure she’ll be missed by you all. Wishing you many beautiful memories of your mother and the times you shared with her.
I remember Aunt Lynn with fondness and admiration at the many Banting reunions.

I have very fond memories of both Lyn & Elmer from years past. My fondest memory was in late 1972 when I had been in the Ottawa Civic Hospital for almost 5 months. Elmer & Lyn invited me over to their home in Ottawa for Christmas Day. I still remember thinking how kind they were to me and the Oke family.
Rest In Peace Lyn...condolences to the family.

Remembering a very dear Grandma, and sending care and comfort and appreciation to her beloved sons (my beloved father and uncles) who took such conscientious care of her when she was past her ability to conscientiously care for them and all of us. She was so poised and graceful always -- I remember that her gestures (for fending off admiration, or expressing laughing frustration, or when saying, humourously, "oh help," in a card game) struck me as refined, even when I was a kid. She was always a thoughtful and caring grandmother, but I came to love her all the more dearly when I was an adult and could appreciate the magnitude of her life's choices and her clever, sweet but sly, wit. We'll remember you always, Grandma, and be grateful to have known you at your best!

In memory of our most wonderful Grandma Lyn. Every moment with her was full of warmth and love. She was so proud of her family and we are so fortunate to have had her as our Mom/Grandma/Great Grandma. She is dearly missed.
