Obituary of Ghassan Michael Deeb

It is with great sadness and devastation that we share Ghassan Michael Deeb’s passing on Sunday January 23, 2022.

He was a devoted and loving husband to his wife, Zahwa, and most incredible father to his children: Pauline and her husband, Jonathan; Tania and her husband, Philip; Michael and Lillian. He was the best grandfather (lovingly known as “Jido”) to his six grandchildren: Jonathan Zion, Julianna Lila, Zahra Grace, Issac Philip, Jaspine “Jazz” Quest, and Justice Ghassan, named after his heroic Jido. He will be greatly missed by his cherished siblings -  Adnan, Yonan, and Hanan - and by all of his nieces and nephews, extended family, friends from around the globe, and his Church family and community.

Michael will always be remembered for his subtle humor, love for life and the Lord, his devotion to his family, and being able to bring a smile to the face of everyone he met.

A celebration of life will be held at his home Church, College Park Church (1164 King Street East, Oshawa) on Thursday February 3, 2022 at 1pm. Visitation will also be held at College Park Church from noon - 1pm before the service. To attend, you must register before the service.
