I knew Danny in the 80’s and 90’s as a very good friend. We roller skated for many years together then go dancing. He had a great sense of humour amongst our group of mutual friends and I’m so sad he’s gone. We drove around in his 57 convertible and had such a lot of fun just being friends. He was so proud of his aquarium and got me interested in breeding fish. I spend many a day at his house just cooking, eating and laughing together.
I’m sure he’s roller skating through heaven in peace now.

To my uncle Dan, he was the reason for why i love cars and as young boy, I really enjoyed going for rides in his classic cars with him. I hope you are now driving your 57 T-bird convertible. We will miss you dearly and will always have you in our hearts. With love, your nephew Jeff and niece Lina.

Dearest Auntie Sandra and family, we were so saddened to hear about Uncle Danny's illness and his passing. May he now rest in everlasting and well-deserved peace. He was a kind and patient person to us, growing up. He taught me to draw by placing my small hand on top of his as he drew. I was fascinated by how he made these magical drawings, and so thrilled I was shown how to make them myself. He made it seem so easy. Love the photo of the young Uncle Danny shared here. He was always handsome and very stylish. Our Elvis, really, and we loved to share in his exciting world. May you continue to ride into the sunset in your Thunderbird with the round windows, Uncle Danny, playing fab music, with Buster by your side. With sadness and love, from Liz.

Dear Uncle Danny, may you now be able to take a well-deserved rest, forever blanketed in love and kindness and peace. We are sending so much love to you and your family.
Thank you for sharing your many artistic gifts and wonderful stories with us. As young kids, you encouraged us to be creative, but above-all to be kind. Liz and I and cousins Kimmy and Jeff couldn’t wait to ride in your ’57 Thunderbird convertible, to listen to your Motown collection, or to help you feed the fish, squirrels and birds. You made our childhood fun and memorable.
You were the cool uncle who looked like a young Elvis. Your love of humanity and animals remains a gift to us and we hope to carry that forward in your memory.
We are all going to miss you very much.
Your loving niece, xoxox Helen

To my twin brother Danny, you were always there for me as kids and into adulthood, you were my go to person who fixed everything. I will cherish our childhood antics and our long chats at the farm. A piece of me died with you but I will always love you. Thank you for being the best brother anyone could ask for. May you get the rest and peace you deserve.xoxo San
