Obituary of Joan Visser

June 14, 1928 – December 19, 2021

Entered her Heavenly Home on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at the age of 93 years.

Beloved wife of the late Donald (2004).

Much loved mother of:

Ann and Fred Mars; Florene and Donald Prins; and Murray Visser and Vanessa Hughes.

Loving grandmother/Beppe of:

Lauren and Scott Barker; Andrea and Peter Kassaris; Jon and Lorraine Prins; Taylor and Sarah Prins; David Prins; Eric Visser and fiancé Jessica Turchet; and Mark Visser.

She dearly loved each of her seven great-grandchildren: Owen, Benjamin, and Graham Barker; Kate and Jason Prins; and Alexandra and Eleni Kassaris.

The extended Visser and Hoekstra families, both in Canada and The Netherlands, will remember her fondly.

A private family funeral will be held on December 21, 2021, with funeral arrangements entrusted to Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, Bowmanville.  Interment Bowmanville Cemetery.  Memorial Donations may be made to Knox Christian School.
