Obituary of Dana Marie Janiga

(nee Johnston)

 

Passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on November 18^th, 2021 at the age of 57 years.

 

Dear friend of Tom Connell.  Loving mother of Carl (Chandelle) and Trevor (Gemma).  Cherished grandma of Daiton, Evan, Baylen, Justice, Liberty and Jade.  Loved daughter of Douglas Johnston and predeceased by her mother Barbara.  Dear sister of Cindy (Pat) and Kerri (Kelsey) and predeceased by her brother Derek.  She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews Amber, Nikk (Starla), Kir (Kaitlyn), Skyler (Amber), Jett (Katanna) and Journey and great nieces & nephews Taylor, Ashton, Aiden, Myah and Londyn.

 

Heaven blessed us with an angel,

She showered us with love.

But then one day God took you home,

To shine way up above.

 

Your dancing feet were ready,

It was time to say goodbye.

It was on that day you got your wings,

The angels helped you fly.

 

On that day we let you go,

A piece of us went with you.

Now we’ve all come together,

Like our families used to do.

 

It’s not the same without you,

Many tears we all have cried.

Now the memories will last forever,

It’s just the tears we cannot hide.

 

The sun now shines upon you,

The grass is always green.

So on that day we meet again,

We’ll talk about all we’ve seen.

 

On this day we stand together,

There’s only one thing left to say.
