He was a genuinely an all round top class guy to have known and worked with.
This is heartbreaking news of Rob’s passing and I sincerely give my condolences to his family.

This is such a tremendous loss. He had a larger then life personality that was infectious. His smile was as big as his heart. I loved to share a laugh and a jab with Rob. I would often bug him that he wasn’t my favourite cousin but I know darn well he knew he was. We also always joked about who had more time off in the summer him or I?! It was the great debate. Don loved razzing him about being a leafs fan.
Like everyone. we loved and adored him. Jane, Kayla, Rachel, Glenda , Corey , Ryan and Kyle, know you are surrounded by everyone who loves and supports you.

An infectious smile, an inspirational zest for life. If you were lucky enough to know Rob you quickly realized he was adored by all and for good reason.
Rob was and will always be known as a straight shooter willing to help anyone in need.
Those who had the pleasure of knowing Rob through friendship or work knew he was a lot more than the “happy country guy” persona he may have been mistaken for portraying. He was Intelligent, quick witted and well read, a truly interesting and absolute genuine guy. I had the pleasure of knowing these many parts of Rob first hand as a coworker and friend.
Our Condolences to Jane, Kayla, Rachel and all of Rob’s extended family. He will be forever in our hearts and memories.

Jane and your girls, so very sorry to hear of Rob’s passing. My condolences to Rob’s entire family. It’s hard to believe you’re gone. Such a mountain of a guy. His generosity, and willingness to help anyone, will be missed by many. His sense of humour, his love of life and all out riot to be around will be missed by everyone he met along the way. I’ll always remember you and ‘Rockshow’ doing handsprings at Trolley’s wedding. Hilarious, that was you.
Looking at all the photos people have posted, all have one common denominator. Breener, you were one hell of a guy, who loved to have fun, and loved everyone around you. Until we meet again, my man. Save us a seat at the bar...

I recently had a son on October 14th and Rob was one of the first guys to reach out and congratulate me when I was off work helping my wife with our newborn. He also reminded me to enjoy and spend as much time as I could with my boy because as he said to me then, "...the days are long but the years fly by...Our jobs will never love us back. That's Old Man Breen's advice for the day". I'll never forget that sage advice brother, and I'm gonna miss not being able to joke around and have some good laughs with you.

Post Outage De-Brief with the Darlington MRMD crew. Rob was a solid member of the Reactor Maintenance crew at Darlington. Was a strong and engaged worker regardless the task. We had a task to drive a robot into a dark, aged pipe to retrieve a piece of metal down in a pit, like driving a rover on Mars -Rob was focused and up to the challenge, nervy job, we did it! Always brought strength and humor to the workplace, always. Regarded his time off with his family as number one priority, nothing else mattered. His presence will be missed, his memory will live on in each of us. Thanks Rob, thanks. Too young.

I will always remember our unlimited bud lights, jerk chicken, margaritaville and good times at Rob’s Bar & Grill. So thankful to have travelled to Hawaii, Cuba, cottage trips, festivals and lots of Blue Jay games with you!
Rest easy big guy❤️
Love, your big Hilard xo

Buddy, I can't believe that you're actually gone. We've had so many awesome times over the years it's hard to wrap my head around never having another one with you. You were always there to lend a hand, have a beer or go on a full on rip for the whole weekend. You were one of the funniest, big-hearted and generous guys I've ever known and one of the best friends I've ever had. It's going to be hard seeing a meme that only you and I would find funny and not having you to send it to. I hope you rest easy knowing that you raised strong daughters and married an even stronger wife, who will be watched over by your many friends that have been left behind. I will miss you always.

Rob, I will always remember you for your kind smile and contagious laugh. I will never forget you taking Kayla and I to Saturday morning hockey practices. I will remember sunny days spent by the pool, trips to the cottage, and the best jerk chicken ever! Thank you for always making everyone feel like family and for treating me like one of your own. Sending love and big hugs to Jane, Kayla, Rachel, and family❤️ xox

Hard to believe I will never see you again. I will miss your infectious laugh, your loud voice, your crazy cooking antics and your outrageous stories. You always had everyone laughing. You were the first to show up whenever anyone needed you and always the last one to leave a party. You never let anyone have a empty beer and were always up for a good time. I will always think of you when we make jerk chicken and it rains. We will miss you, Rob!
Jane, Kayla and Rach, we will be here for whatever you need! Love you guys
