It was a pleasure taking care of Rod (and Aleta.) He was one of a kind. I will miss laughing with him.
I tried to scold him once for falling of a ladder. He had a kind smile. As you know I drive past his house everyday. So I will continue to think of
Rod.

May your many loving memories give you comfort, always. I have many fond memories of church days at Enniskillen Church, especially Rod and Pat sitting together like two peas in a pod, so sweet, so loving. Rod is now back with his beloved Pat, arm and arm again. Enjoyed the video, thank you for sharing it! My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Thank you for sharing this, I appreciate it. What a lovely collection of memories.
I was so sad to hear that Grandpa passed away, and I'm sorry too for your loss. It was a kindness that he was able to live at home until his final days and be close to friends and family.
I hope you and the family are doing alright.
Love,
Rachel

We are very sorry for the loss of your father. He will be missed, and remembered by many.
Mom & I just watched your video memorial and recognized so many people. It was a lovely testimony to a life well-lived.
Your Dad always gave great hugs. And he was forever inventing something or other. He was such a kind soul, and so willing to embrace & love life.
I have memories of the farm - your barn & playing (jumping) in the hay. (I never knew it could be so scratchy.) And there was always a dog around - the memorial captured that well.
Kelly, my heart goes out to you and all your siblings. Your Dad was the gentlist of men, always with a smile - a great Uncle. He will live on in all our memories.
Much Love
Mary, Mansour,
Emma,
& Aunt Alice

Great job done, once again, Kelly! You always put in the big effort with the extra little touches to make everyone's memories of your family home as adorable as possible. Those dear to us are responding to these pictures and music with much love, sadness, and tears as the final chapter of life at the farm is ending. The heart strings are definitely twanging as we all recall the love and laughter from days gone by. Thank you and your family for always sharing your home with whoever came along to stay as long as necessary. Through all the good times and the bad, time has proven what is really important...family, friends, and neighbours are always there when you truly need them. We were each blessed to have had the opportunity for our time spent together.
Love Andrea, XO!"

The farm was a magic place for me too -- the most insanely magic place when I was a kid. I remember counting the days when Mark and Jo said they were going to take me, terrified that it would rain and we wouldn't be able to go.
Never got to know Rod that well but I was always taken by his joy when people were around. How much he liked it when I played some raucous blues thing on the piano.
Much love to you.
