My sincere condolences to Ron and family. "Cec" was my sister's close childhood friend and street sister and street daughter of my mother. She was mild-mannered and always got along with everybody. Cecile maintained a lifelong relationship with my sister, Christine Macys (nee: Guerin) and I am certain will be sadly missed by those who knew her well. Sorry for your loss.

Dear Ron and family,
We weren't able to watch Cece's service on Thursday but we did today (Friday). We enjoyed it very much - of course we laughed and cried along with you all. Thinking of you and sending lots of love,

Cec has been a good friend for many, many years. We may have lost touch a few times but when we reconnected it was like we’d seen each other yesterday. In the years since retirement we were able to spend more time together, going for coffee, bargain hunting at her favourite stores, working on jigsaw puzzles. We will both miss her very much.
Love Anne and Don

Ron and family,
We are so sorry to hear about Cec. She was a great friend, golfer, euchre player, crafter, participant at union picnics/dances, hostess at your pool and dart games in your house; these are just a few of the events that portrayed her compassion and fun times we had. She was always there to help out at whatever event we were at. Our memories will never be forgotten of the times we spent together. She was a great human being and her compassion was there for all to see. She was a great wife, mother and grandmother. Rest in Peace, my friend.
Love Wayne and Joy

I have many fond memories of card games with Cec and Ron, in either our kitchen or theirs and bowling in the same 5 pin leagues. Cec was always competitive and very good at both. We had good times and lots of laughs. Your journey on this earth is ended but you will always be a part of our family in happy memories. Rest in Peace dear sister-in-law. Love, Nan

So many wonderful memories from Cheryl’s wedding, to cadet adventures, to Ron’s wedding and all our wonderful family gatherings. You always seem to put us kids first even the ones that didn’t belong to you.lol You left a beautiful footprint in our lives and for that I will be forever grateful. You are loved by so many. May you Rest In Peace my friend ❤️

Dear Ron and family, We have many fond memories of Cec, lots of them from the "Sunday Night Irregulars" baseball games back in the late '70s and early '80s - those were some great times! She was a warm and caring person and we will remember her that way. Sending you our deepest sympathy, your friends, Blaine and Brook Kell, Thunder Bay

Cec was my partner in many, many card games and was always on my side! She could follow the cards and knew who had what in their hands. She could usually manage to give the Queen to Ron or Earl as needed! We won most of the euchre games and enjoyed every minute! I will miss her. Donna Fossum

My condolences to all of Cec's family. She was my sister and I loved her. When I was in hospital, she flew to Winnipeg to visit me. When I saw her I cried because she surprised me and because I was so happy to see her. She was always there for important events in my life but I was not there for her. Although we were seldom in contact, I will miss her!

Ron, Cheryl and Ron Jr. and families.
It is with heartfelt sadness that we have to say goodbye to Cec without the opportunity to have a proper send off. With this is the regret that we are not able to be with you. We hope you know that all you are foremost in our minds, thoughts and prayers.
Ron, although you were married for 52 years my memories of Cec were longer that that. I remember thinking when I was a kid who is this Jean Street girl that stole the heart of my brother? As it turned our it was the perfect girl for my big brother. When I think of Ron, I always think of Ron and Cec, as they were a team, a pair and a couple.
You both helped me immensely throughout my life, opening up your home to me when I was without options, opening up yourselves to my friends, and always being there with helping hands for me in my time of need.
I have many loving memories of Cec and the kindness she always exhibited us whenever we got together. It is known that Cec was an accomplished bowler representing Thunder Bay at the Provincials on several occasions, but also in darts. But she also had a fondness for other sports like softball and hockey. She was our pitcher for our Sunday weekend warriors, and more recently a real "Hockey Grandma".
Many miles have passed over the years with many laughs and tears, a reflection of a life well lived.
I will miss you my dear sister-in-law Cec.
My prayer is that you be comforted in the arms of your Lord and Savior. You will be missed but never forgotten. Your legacy will live on through your children and grandchildren.
My loving memories will last my live time.
Until we meet again!
With much love and a heavy heart.
Cliff (and Leslie)
