Remembering sweet James with tears in my eyes... He always was so loving and caring ... specially when him and I would get in to a conversation about languages! I was so impressed how he was so good at it ... he would always greet me with something in Portuguese! My heart goes to his loving family ! Ate um dia meu amigo !

I remember meeting James on the first day of high school and spent many hours at his house playing football in the backyard. Him and I attended many Toronto Blue Jays games together and he was really helpful and understanding. My Deepest condolences to the entire family... you will be missed my friend

My heart is deeply hurting for James/Jamie and his family. So many of my fondest memories growing up were spent with James, Emma and Matthew - making a disaster in their basement, hanging out in their homemade treehouse, playing outside, jumping on the castles and swimming in their pool. Later on after James started attending BHS, we would sit together at the back of the bus and laugh the entire ride home from school. Every memory I have of James is of him smiling and/or making other people laugh. He was always an absolute light to be around. Anyone could immediately tell how smart he was in a single conversation, even with his goofy sense of humour. He seemed to never take life too seriously, which is a gift. This along with his charisma made others want to be his friend. I know how difficult Canada’s mental health system can be to navigate and have donated to the Canadian Mental Health Association in honour of Jamie.

James was the little brother of my best friend in public grade school. I spent time in his childhood home often and have fond memories of a brave , smart young guy diving around his parents jumping castles. When my mom told me about this post up at our local store, we were both hit by how lovely the family always was to us and what an unimaginable loss of such a bright young individual. Sending our love and prayers Elizabeth and the Wyatt family

We will always remember Jamie’s empathetic and sweet disposition, he was so kind to our girls. His heart was big, his knowledge vast and we were very fond of him and the memories we have when the kids were young and played so freely together. Love and memories to always fill your heart,
Rich, Cheryl, Kendra, Harper & Scout xoxoxoxoxo
