I am so sorry to hear that Wendy has passed away.
She was like a second mom to me when I was a girl.
I have so many good memories of her. She was so kind, caring and loving. I will always remember her laughter.

I grew up across the street from Wendy's in-laws on Beatty Avenue in Oshawa. I have so many fond memories of Wendy. She was always so kind and welcoming. She was warm and had a great laugh. I spent a lot of time with the family, Vanessa and Victoria, in particular. They had their mother's kindness. The world needs more like Wendy.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of a wonderful friend. When We moved to Bowmanville with 5 children and my terminally ill mother, Wendy knocked on my door with a basket of goodies to welcome us to the neighbourhood.That kindness continued with special little gifts and visits weekly with my mom and with each of these Wendy would include her prayer notes of encouragement and comfort. These visits meant so much to my mother and myself. I cannot be remiss by not mentioning her always present smile. To all the Harris family Al and myself would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to you..I am convinced Wendy is home .Prayers and blessings Al and Louise Wright

Our heart felt condolences go out to Wendy’s family. I will never forget the day we moved in on Hobbs Dr in Bowmanville, Wendy came and knocked on the door and handed us a basket filled with all her homemade goodies welcoming us. Jinny, as we knew her became a constant in our home as she was good friends with our daughter Shannon. Wendy was such a kind person and I know she will be sadly missed

My heart feels for Ron and all Wendy's children. 1st time I walked into Nana Harris' kitchen, all i could hear was Aunt Wendy's bubbly giggle. A hug with how are you. Words of wisdom, never forgotten from her mouth. She cared for so many a feeling. She felt truly with her heart. So proud to be apart of your life. Ron, Veronica, Victoria, Vannessa, Virginia, Valentyn and family, I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of Wendy! Wendy was a very special person...a true Angel! She loved her entire family, and grandchildren and always spoke very highly of you all! She was always so positive, had a bubbly, sparkly personality and had her own special way of lighting up any room she happened to be in! She always had a smile and something nice to say to anyone who knew her, or who had the privilege and pleasure of meeting her! I am Debbie Irene Harris, nee Miller. I have known Wendy since we were 8 years old and became best friends from the beginning.We became sis in laws in 1985.We have been through many stages of our lives together, dates, marriages, children, deaths, and many more.
Wendy has always been there for me.
