I am shocked and saddened to hear of Dr. Busman's passing. I had a terror of dentistry from childhood, until I met Dr. Busman, approximately 40 years ago. He was the most gentle and kindest dentist. He went out of his way to understand my fears, explain what was happening and what he wanted to do, all with a wonderful sense of humour and the gentlest touch. On my last visit I told him what a blessing he was in my life and how much I appreciated him.
What a tragic and deep loss this must be for his family and for his staff. https://s3.amazonaws.com/skins.funeraltechweb.com/tribute-gestures/v2/butterfly.png

We are so sorry to hear about the passing of our favourite dentist Dr. Busman. Our family have been patients of his for over 30 years. He was so kind to all of us and such an easy going man. I remember the time I brought in my yearbook from Woburn Collegiate in Scarborough where we both went to high school. Dr. Busman was ahead of me and I never met him at school. We had some smiles over his picture .. with long hair! We have so many memories of him and was always there when we may have had a dental issue. He will be so missed. Our sincere condolences to his family.

Our condolences to Karen and the family. We have been patients of Harry's since he opened his door and long since came to know him more as friend who happened to also be the kindest most wonderful dentist. He loved taking advantage of his profession by stuffing his patient's mouths with equipment and then regaling us with his humour knowing that we couldn't respond. He will be greatly missed.

I had the pleasure of being Dr Busman’s first employee.
I got an interview by regularly talking with the trades people working on his office.
We spent many hours drinking coffee and playing Trivial Pursuit while waiting for the phone to ring or the door bell to ring for walk in patients.
It was great helping him build his practice and watching his confidence grow.
Dr Busman was a quiet, kind, caring and genuine person. He was someone who always listened to what you had to say and you never left his office without him having something humours to say on the way out.
I was very saddened to hear of his passing.
My condolences to Karen and his family.
May you RIP Harry

I believe I was one of Harry's first patients and I know I brought him a challenge with every visit. Harry knew I was very nervous but he had a way of making me feel at ease. I believe Harry cared about each and every patient. He always asked about how the family was doing as he was a very kind, caring and compassionate man. My sincere condolences to Karen and the family. Rest in peace Harry.

Our deepest sympathy to the entire Busman family and to the wonderful staff at his dental office. Dr Busman was our family dentist for 35 years and he will be greatly missed, as much for his kindness and compassion ,as for his professional expertise. His keen sense of humor and pun-making were always appreciated, making visits a happy occasion. He gently introduced our children to the dental chair while they were very young and deserves much credit for their continued dental health. They remember him fondly and were sad to hear of his passing.

I was so sad to read of Dr. Busman's passing. He was my dentist for the last 30 years and I will truly miss him. He would always say to me, as I very rarely had any dental issues, "I guess I'm not going to make any money off of you!". Such a kind, gentle man! To his family, friends and staff I offer my sincere condolences.

I believe I was his first patient in his Whitby office. I was working at the video store in the Whitby mall at the time. Doctor Busman was carrying in a mirror for the office that was still under construction. I thought he was a construction worker. He was a man that was down to earth and easy to talk to. He put you at ease in his chair. He will be missed. Condolences to the family. Karen Hendry (Wilson)

I worked for Dr. Busman when I first moved to Whitby. He was a great man to work for, very kind and easy going. My time there was temporary, just filling in when he needed someone for front desk reception. One of the best dental offices I've worked at, great staff, co workers and friends, Patti, Karen and Ashley. Will always have fond memories. My sincere condolences to the family. Dr. Busman will be truly missed.

To Karen, Philip, Kolin and families , my heartfelt condolences.
Working for Dr. B was a pleasure. His easy going manner made for a calm work day. His kindness and generosity will always be remembered, as well as his dedication to work and his patients.
We could always count on his silly puns and jokes to brighten our days. It was a joy to see his excitement as he shared stories and photos of the birds and nature he enjoyed on his trips to Costa Rica. His confidence that the Maple Leads would win another Stanley Cup left him open to much ribbing and fun banter.
May you find a good Tim Horton's wherever you are.

I have been Dr.Busmans assistant for 14 years. I can’t express enough how well he has treated all of his staff and patients. I have grown with him, learned from him, and shared so many memories with him at the office. I will forever remember his voice, forever remember his jokes, that I heard weekly and always knew the ending to each and every joke he said. I will always remember how he would quiz me on songs that came on the radio that were from the 70’s and ask me “so Ashley...do you know who sings this one?” He was the most kindest, gentle and caring boss you could ever ask for. Not only were you my boss, but someone whom I could call my friend. I will miss you dearly Dr.B and I know all your patients will also.

I have worked with Dr. Busman for 28 years. It was a great place to work because of the way he treated his staff and cared for his patients. He was very easy going to work for and would make us laugh with his jokes and witty puns . It just won’t be the same without him working in the room next to me and hearing his voice everyday . You will be greatly missed. Patti
