Uncle Paul, you were a one-of-a-kind, rock-solid man that I will miss so much. Your kind smile, thoughtful laugh, and how you went out of your way make me feel as though I belonged will be forever in my memories. You left a remarkable legacy through your children and grandchildren. You will not be forgotten, Uncle Paul.
Aunt Kathy, Kim, Sean, and Tara, the weight of this loss is substantial; I hope you can take some solace in knowing how much he loved you. He was proud of you – his family was the light of his universe. Thank you for supporting him through what was likely the most challenging time of his life. My sincere condolences to my dear Aunt Kathy, my uncle Pauls lifelong friend, wife and partner in crime. To my dear cousin Kim, your unwavering love for your father was always present and I will always admire and thank you for that. To my amazing cousin Sean, your heart is almost as big as you, watching you become an amazing father and husband filled your father with pride and joy. To my strong, loving and resilient cousin Tara, thank you for always being his confident, friend, and always having his back.
I am filled with a deep sadness for ALL that loved him. His three sisters who will miss him terribly. All the nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and friends, he has left a void for us all.
I am also filled with peace and joy, because I know who was there to greet him …to welcome him home with a BIG hug and an unforgettable smile .... our beautiful Uncle Kenny, his baby brother. His beautiful mother can finally once again embrace her son.

Its with a heavy heart and great sadness to our family that im writing this. We lost a great man, a man that i admired, loved and learned from and am proud to have had him as an uncle. Although our gear head wrenching plans this summer are on hold, i promise to keep the oil and gas running through my veins for the both of us.

My thoughts are with you. Dave and Paul were fast friends back in the day. You and I were very lucky to find our soulmates. Remember the joy you both shared. Dear Kathy and family, Paul was a wonderful man, he had a great sense of humour. I'll always remember his charts that he used to make and put on the fridge so he would know what dog got what and when. Kathy, Tara and Sean you have my deepest symppathies.
