My sincerest condolences to you all. Tante Ali, as we Hendriks siblings all called her, was a warm and loving presence at so many family events. I will always remember her smile, her sense of humour and her warm hugs. May you all find peace in a lifetime of memories. Hugs, Pat.

Alex, Jeannette, Lorraine and family, my condolences. Your mom (my aunt) was one remarkable woman. She was a kind and caring lovely lady. I will miss our visits and laughter. She was a testament to being a great mother, aunt and friend.
Rest In Peace Aunt Ali. Hugs to all you meet in heaven.
Love Yolanda.

Condolences, Alex, Jeanette and Lorraine. I have happy memories of visiting your parents’ place in Orono. And the long consultations each year on my dad’s birthday when your mom and all Flim sisters (and Aunt Lucy!) deliberated over which of my dad’s many ties your dad should choose to being home with him. Uncle Ike sometimes brought his latest jacket to make sure the tie matched. We’re sorry that you’ve lost them both. Peace to you all.

Alex, Jeannette, Lorraine: May you know the love of Christ and His family at this time of sadness and distance. I have fond memories of Tante Ali and have also enjoyed the stories that Mom has told about her. Most recently, I particularly found humorous how Tante Ali would hardly let Mom get a word in edgewise when she phoned Mom--still the big sister, telling Mom what she thought even as Mom was talking! The Flim family get-togethers provided many occasions to witness the love that the Flim siblings enjoyed and Tante Ali was a significant part of those times. I hope that God provides each one of you with what you need at this time--your Mom now rests in God's promises--and that each of you are able to remember and celebrate your Mom in the years to come. Love to you all.

Our sincere sympathy to Jeannette, Lorraine, Alex, grandchildren and all of Ali's family. Ali was such a faithful, caring friend to me that it is difficult to imagine life without her. It was comforting to be able to watch the funeral service on line. May you all be comforted that Ali is with her Lord and Saviour now. Hendrik and Didy Prinzen

My sincere sympathy to all of Ali's family, and especially to Alex, Jeannette and Lorraine. May it be a comfort to know that your Mom was ready and at peace to enter the gates of Heaven. At the same time you miss her terribly of course. Your Mom's passing away has brought my thoughts back to the sixties when your parents shared life on the farm in Pefferlaw with uncle George and I. Love, tante Anne

Lucille and I would like to extend our deepest condolences to all of the family. Some of my fondest memories of your Mom are from the times I spent on their farm in Pefferlaw. Then when they moved to Orono we were able to visit them on a more regular basis. Finally, it was Durham Christian homes where they were able to, again, reconnect with my parents and many other of their relatives. Some many fond memories, that will always remain of your Mom in my heart and mind.
