Obituary of Janna Woudstra

JANNA WOUDSTRA Our beloved mother passed from this life into eternal life with her Lord and Saviour on Monday December 28, 2020 at the age of 90 years. Janna Woudstra was born on May 24th, 1930 in Groningen, The Netherlands to parents Eeuwe and Ienje Boersema. She has one sister, Clara Wubbolt. Janna was married to her beloved husband Herman Woudstra until his death in 1993. They were wed for 42 years. Weeks after their marriage in June 1951, they emigrated to Canada to begin their new life. Janna was the loving mother of Ina (the late Garf) Burgess, Dirk (Alison) Woudstra, Tilly (Brian) Adams and Evelyn (Jack) Julicher. Much adored Grandma and Oma to Justin (Holly), Jeff (Jody), Melissa (Jason), Matthew, Aaron (Mallory), Lacey (Dustin), Nigel (Deanna) and Sean. She also loved spending time with the great grandchildren who lovingly called ger GG, Ashton, Bentley, Mackenzie, Hannah, Elliot, Lillian, Taylor, Madden, Ella-Grace, Kinsley, Deacon, Kazwell and the late Easton. We all loved her so much! A Family Funeral Service will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. Bowmanville. Interment Bowmanville Cemetery.
